Throwing Balls in The House (And other Sunday fun)

Today was great. After MONTHS of bickering and daily fighting between kids, we had a NICE quiet family day. It was so peaceful and relaxing. No one had to go to time-out, there was no arguing at all.

I fixed breakfast for everyone this morning and then we were off to Target for some Easter shopping. They had some games on sale , so I picked up Connect Four and Cosmic Catch.
We played it together and had so much fun. Definitely not for parents who spaz at the thought of a ball being thrown in the house, but everyone was calm and a good time was had by all. The game itself is really cool, it comes with six handbands and a ball. Each band is a different color and the ball recognizes each color. The ball speaks each color and you lightly toss the ball to the player who has the handband that matches.
After playing the game we sat down together and watch Bee Movie and ate popcorn. Daisy was excluded from this movie, because of the way she behaved during the last movie. Everyone else was nice to each other and enjoyed the movie.
By the end of the day I felt rejuvenated. Life is not perfect, but today felt like a wonderful dream.
Things had been really stressful around here. The littles just weren't responding to redirection or discipline. The name calling and fighting was insane. It's been pretty intense around here.

LOL..yeah they made up for it today. It would be great if everyone could just keep their hands/feet/legs/arms to themselves. :c)
