Pickles was playing football today, in a field near our house. Somehow during a tackle he was slammed down hard and broke his collarbone.
He did really well at the hospital. I thought the x-rays were going to kill him, because he was in so much pain.
But he's ok. He's ok.
I guess we'll see how he feels in the morning and then I'll decide if he should stay home or go to school.

Hope he is feeling better. As a kid I broke my collar bone, I had injured it several times with no break...but then a tumble down a flight of stairs broke it...
praying for complete healing and no pain with it in the future.

He's feeling pretty good today, but I think it's because of the Advil. He wanted to go to school, so I let him go. He said he had a good day.
Ouch that does sound horribly painful. Prayers for a swift and easy recovery!
